Ashton Mills, Cumberland/Lincoln Rhode Island - December 14th, 2005
Our usual night vamps went out this evening to 26 degree temperatures. We stayed out here for 4 hours and experienced our first true cold night out. There was an incident of what we thought was a homeowner in a window but with my zoom lenses and 2x telecoverter I spied... their Christmas tree. No worries. I toted around a little warmth in a thermos full of coffee* At the end of the night I was horrified to hear the rewind end at around 4-5 seconds. The counter was working on the F100 but I had a bad feeling about how fast the film rewound. Yes my fellow photogs heard the same thing but didn't want to say anything. To my relief I saw a sea of blue on my slides.
Shot with my Nikon F100/Sigma 15mm f2.8 on Kodak Ektachrome 160T; 120" f5.6.
