Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen. I have the honor of declaring to order, the first gathering of the Jamestown All White Croquet Club on this day of September the third, two thousand. Founding members are Ladies Marissa, Michelle and Stacie, also Sirs David, David, Donald, Edward and Edward. Honorary members include Lady Jessica and Sir James who were dedicating this day to imagination and creativity. | ||||||
The day was afoot and a gloomy day at that. Not to worry as the skies would befriend us and part from precipitating upon us this day.
Spirits were with us as play began. Our leading professional, Sir Ed, played at a disadvantage as play was performed from the opposing side. Several onlookers fared by in there motorized transports and ogled at our marvelous play but more so at our fashionable attire. The game at hand became somewhat of a challenge as Lady Michelle performed to an outstanding degree and threw down the gaunlet as she bounded into the lead. Lady Stacie and Sir Donald were close at hand but posed no immediate danger. Then Lady Michelle and Sir David began a duel by exhanging blows to the bushes. Little did they know that Sir Donald, after freeing himself of unrelenting pressures, stuck a splendid shot from six meteres and clinched the game as the dark horse. Ahhh! cheers! So mark this day - the first ever win of this founding club be Sir Donald Pepperd. |
